"Pilgrims of Hope"

In the heart of each person, hope dwells as the desire and expectation of good things to come...It is this hope, based on Christ who died and rose again, that we wish to celebrate, ponder and proclaim to the whole world in the coming Jubilee...This hope is something real, already accomplished in Christ, a gift daily bestowed upon us until the time when we will be one in the embrace of His love. The 2025 Jubilee year is a celebration in the Catholic Church that marks the 2025th year anniversary of the Incarnation of the Lord. The theme, “Pilgrims of Hope,” will run from December 24th, 2024 through January 6th, 2026.
“For everyone, may the Jubilee be a moment of genuine, personal encounter with the Lord Jesus, the “door” (cf. Jn 10:7.9) of our salvation, whom the Church is charged to proclaim always, everywhere and to all as “our home” (1 Tim 1:1). Pope Francis
